Denver / Lincolnton, NC – The Lincoln Theatre Guild has established an online link for Dearly Departed ticket sales on its home page made possible through its association with CarolinaTix. The public can purchase tickets to the performances being held at the Lincoln Cultural Center on September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Ticket sales for the North Lincoln performance will be posted once the final dates are secured.
In a bold effort to advance the stature and outreach of the Lincoln Theatre Guild, its Board of Directors engaged the services of CarolinaTix for online ticket sales to performances. According to Sherré DeMao, president of the Guild’s Board of Directors, this will not only make it easier for the Lincoln County residents to purchase tickets, but will also promote the Guild’s events to more than 65,000 subscribers from Lincoln and surrounding counties receiving notices of events on a weekly basis. “This is the second event since aligning with CarolinaTix. We were pleased by sales for Alice in Wonderland and hope to double our sales with Dearly Departed, stated DeMao.”
CarolinaTix is a centralized ticketing service offering convenient, one-stop-shopping for tickets to many Charlotte area events. More than 16 organizations ranging from the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center to the United Way currently use the system to handle ticketing for shows and special events, with more clients being added every month. Patrons can make purchases through CarolinaTix.org online 24 hours a day or they can buy tickets via phone or in person at the Blumenthal box office in Founders Hall.
The performance dates are September 21st and 22nd at 8 p.m. and September 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Cultural Center in Lincolnton. Dates for Denver area performance are to be announced. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens. Tickets purchased through CarolinaTix will incur a service fee. After September 20th, any online sales of
tickets will be kept at will call versus mailed. Tickets will be available at the door unless an event is sold out, so purchasing in advanced is encouraged. The public will get a glimpse of the characters in costume as they roam the streets during the Apple Festival with flyers on September 15th in Lincolnton, NC.
The Lincoln Theatre Guild would like to invite other citizens in the area to volunteer in a variety of capacities to further support the production’s preparation for its performances. Individuals can go online to www.lincolntheatreguild.org to submit a volunteer inquiry form.

The Lincoln Theatre Guild has been offering professional-quality community theatre productions to Lincoln County since its establishment in 1981. A member of the Lincoln Arts Council, they Guild’s mission is to bring the passion of the performing arts to the area through providing quality live theatrical entertainment in a supportive environment for the enjoyment and education of the greater community. The Guild’s annual Drama Camp has become such a popular youth summer program that it expanded to two weeks in 2003.
